The project consists of two parts: the Additional Facilities Campus Phase 1 and the Cargo Facility.
The total project area is 1,044,410 m² and the total construction area of the buildings is 630,454 m².
Under Istanbul Airport Phase 1, management and supervision services are provided for the following buildings:
- Transition Building for Air – Ground Personnel
- Operation Center
- Repair & Maintenance Workshops for the Ground Services Devices and Equipment
- Catering Building
- Cargo Building
- Daily Maintenance Hangars
- Heavy Maintenance Hangars
- Fast Cargo Sending Base
- Storage of Onboard Equipment
- Repair & Maintenance Workshops of Cargo Handling Equipment
- Water Tank
- Energy Center Building
- Battery Charging, Defrosting Stations and some administrative buildings
When all phases of the project are completed, Turkish Airline will conduct its operations from one of the world’s largest campus.
