35,000 m² annex building
Technical workshops and storage area
Administrative offices and operational units
The Cortex Antalya Technic Aircraft Maintenance Hangar has been designed in Antalya to support the maintenance and operational requirements of Southwind Airlines' wide-body aircraft fleet. The maintenance facility has been planned to accommodate up to nine aircraft simultaneously—three wide-body and six narrow-body aircraft—providing high operational efficiency and flexibility.
As part of the project, an approximately 35,000 m² annex building has been designed as an integral component of the hangar complex. The facility has been planned to support both heavy maintenance and line maintenance operations for wide-body aircraft.
Throughout the design process, particular emphasis has been placed on compatibility with the physical environment, architectural integrity, obstacle limitation (OLS) criteria, acoustic performance, aviation safety, and integration with the airport's existing infrastructure systems.
Developed in accordance with the project requirements and applicable regulations, the annex building includes technical workshops, storage areas, administrative offices, and operational units supporting aircraft maintenance activities. This integrated layout enables maintenance, operational, and support functions to be carried out efficiently within a single facility.
The project provides the infrastructure required to ensure the safe, efficient, and internationally compliant maintenance of different aircraft types within the Southwind Airlines fleet.
Yüksel Proje completed the engineering design services for the project in just six months and is currently providing construction supervision and construction management services. Our scope includes reviewing design implementation, supervising construction works to ensure compliance with the approved design documents and technical specifications, managing quality, schedule, cost, and on-site coordination processes, and performing technical supervision and coordination on behalf of the Employer. Through these services, we contribute to the successful delivery of the project in line with the targeted quality standards, schedule, budget, and safety objectives.
