Yüksel Proje has accelerated its sustainability efforts and, after successfully implementing a comprehensive waste management system for some time, has proudly earned the Zero Waste Certificate.
At Yüksel Proje headquarters, waste such as paper, plastic, glass, batteries, oil, and electronics are carefully sorted and sent to licensed recycling centers. With robust systems in place to monitor all data, results are continually assessed, and targets for future waste reduction are set.
Embracing a circular management approach, Yüksel Proje leverages internal communication networks to ensure that all employees adopt and enhance the Zero Waste System. Each year, we develop new practices to further reduce waste and promote recycling and reuse.
Regarding the waste management initiatives led by the Quality and Management Systems Department, Department Manager Serap Semizoğlu commented:
"Through our Waste Management System, we strive not only to reduce waste but also to ensure efficient and effective resource use by setting new targets each year. This approach helps us minimize our environmental impact and make significant strides toward our sustainability goals. We see waste management as part of a broader strategy for sustainability and efficiency.
Our system is designed to protect the environment and reduce operational costs by optimizing the processes of recycling, reusing, and proper disposal of waste. By continuously monitoring the effectiveness of these systems, we can better address future environmental challenges and uphold our societal responsibilities."
