Our first project in India: Chardham Railway

The project, located in the mountainous state of Uttarakhand, North of India”, comprises the preliminary design of four different railway lines having 327 km in total length.

Name of the project “Chardham” means four temples in Hindi and this railway line will connect to Gangotri, Yamunotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath Temples which are 4 holy temples of Hinduism. The temples are located in Himalayas having approximately 3300 m above sea level.

With Chardham Railway Project, Indian authorities are aiming to launch a safer travel period to these touristic and holy places visited by tourist from abroad as Hindu people.
