The survey, design and engineering services of Three-Storey Istanbul Tunnel which will cross under Istanbul Bosphorus and approximately 6.5 million passengers will benefit from the service is started.
Three-Storey Istanbul Tunnel will be constructed with tunnel drilling machine (TBM) which is the biggest machine in the world. The works to be started on the purpose of determination of the parameters based on the tunnel design are executed by “Fugro Scout” ship having Singapore Flag. The ship that is 83 meters in length and 20 meters width has the feature of fixing (DP2) via the motors on the point in which the drilling works will be carried out in the conditions of bad flow in Istanbul Bosphorus.
