BIG ALMATY RING ROAD (BAKAD), KAZAKHSTAN

Kazakhstan’s first major public-private partnership project, designed as a ring road through the Karasay and Talgar regions of Almaty state, is at a length of 66 kilometers.

14.5 km of the road is designed as 4 lanes and 51.5 km of it as 6 lanes. In addition, there are 7 intersections, 19 under-overpasses and 19 bridges within the scope of the project, This project is expected to prevent traffic congestion in the city to a great extent.

KINALI-TEKIRDAG-CANAKKALE-SAVASTEPE MOTORWAY, MALKARA-CANAKKALE SECTION, TURKEY

The 88 km long Malkara-Canakkale section of the Kınali-Tekirdag-Canakkale-Savastepe Motorway starts from the south of Malkara and ends at Lapseki Sekerkaya.

The the highway project that will connect Istanbul and Canakkale when completed consists of; 4 viaducts, 12  interchanges, 44 underpasses, 12 bridges, 43 overpasses and 1 ecological bridge.

RAIL BALTICA

Rail Baltica is a rail transport infrastructure project aiming to integrate the Baltic States in the European rail network. The total length of Rail Baltica Project is 870 km’s including the European Union countries –Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia. The main goal of the project is to improve the Central and Northern European rail connections.

Design Review and Design Expertise Services for RB Railway Project in Lithuania and Estonia will be provided by 3TI Progetti and Yuksel Proje joint venture.

The 213 km Estonian section of the project includes 52 railway bridges/viaducts, 24 ecoducts, 42 road crossings, 284 culverts and other structures, while the 168 km Lithuanian section consists of 38 railway bridges/viaducts, 7 ecoducts, 22 road crossings, 156 culverts and other structures.

TUZ GOLU (SALT LAKE) UNDERGROUND NATURAL GAS STORAGE FACILITY CAPACITY INCREASE PROJECT

The main purpose of the project is to store five-billion m3 natural gas by dissolving the salt reserves in 40 caves near the Tuz Golu (Salt Lake).

Within the scope of the project, fresh water taken from the Hirfanlı Dam through the intake structure will be transmitted to the pump station. The water transmitted to the pump station will then be sent to the caves, where the salt water formed after the dissolution process in the caves will be transmitted to the pump station again, and then discharged into the Tuz Golu.

Designed section of the motorway is a part of “Motorway Corridor Vc” which is the main North-South motorway corridor of the country, connecting the borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its neighboring countries Serbia and Croatia.

The scope of the projects covers; approximately 6 km of motorway, 2 tunnels, 3 viaducts, 1 steel bridge, 1 interchange, 1.4 km connection road, 4 km local road and 1 toll plaza.

The Bucharest Ring Road is a 100 km long, access controlled, 2×2 freeway designed according to Romanian motorway standards.

Design of the section located on the South of Bucharest, between km 69+000 and km 85+300 (16.3 km) which connects Vidra and Bragadiru districts is in the scope of Yuksel Proje. There are 10 overpasses, 6 motorway bridges, 2 interchanges, 1 maintenance and operation center and 1 parking area within this section.

These two sections cover 10 km and 14 km of the 125 km Rishikesh to Karanprayag new rail line project in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Yuksel Proje’s mandate includes the design and supervision of four tunnels of an approximate aggregate length of 18 km.

The railway connection is expected to reduce the journey time between Rishikesh and Karanprayag from 7 hours to 2 hours.

The project is passing through Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh states and is located along the Bilaspur – Manali – Leh corridor with an approximate length of 475 km.

Especially the Manali – Leh section of the project alignment poses extremely challenging conditions, including high-altitude, lack of oxygen, severe weather conditions and limited access. The project will be the highest railway line in the world, when completed, and approximately 50% of the project will be through tunnels.

The BOT project, has a total length of 433 km with 384 km motorway and 49 km of connection roads. Project comprises many bridges, viaducts and tunnels.

Osmangazi Bridge has the tower heights of 252 m rank 4 in the world with mid-span of 1,550 m.

Nissibi Cable-Stayed Bridge is designed to be constructed on the Ataturk Dam Lake at the 125th km of Diyarbakir-Adiyaman state highway. 610 m long cable stayed bridge, with 2×2 lanes, has a mid-span of 400 m over the dam lake and two pylons of 96 m high at each coast.

Komurhan Bridge is constructed over Karakaya Dam Lake on the Malatya-Elazig State Highway. The Bridge, with 660 m length and 360 m span, is designed as cable-stayed with a single pylon of 165 m high.

The bridge, with a total length of 330 m composed of 2×82.5 m side spans and 165 m mid-span, is designed as post-tensioned box cross-section and constructed with balanced cantilever method.

Akyunlu Bridge is located on Tunceli-Elazig State Highway over Uzuncayir Dam Lake to connect Malazgirt subprovince with Tunceli province.

360 m long and 3 spanned bridge, with 90 meters on both sides and 180 m at center, has a deck width of 18 m and designed as post-tensioned box section cast-in-place with balanced cantilever method.

Zorlu Center has 614,000 m2 area totally in Istanbul-Zincirlikuyu. It is a mixed-used project which contains hotel, shopping mall, residential, office and performance art center.

Performance art center is enriched with acoustic properties and has a main theater with 2.242 person capacity and natural acoustics equipment. Additionally, the building has the drama scene with 717 person capacity.

Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge with 8-lane motorway and 2-track railway designed as a hybrid product (Cable Stayed + Suspension) of high engineering and technology. It hosts number of records additional to charmful aesthetics and technical characteristics; world’s largest with 59 meters width and world’s longest with 1,408 meters main span that accomodate both highway and railway, world’s highest towers with over 322 meters.

BOT Project covers 95 km of motorway and 27 km of connection roads, 4-lane double tube tunnels each with a length of 700 m, suspension bridge with a length of 1,408 m, and 37 viaducts and small superstructures of varying dimensions and lengths.
