The aim of project is to rearrange the river course from Uluabat Lake to Marmara Sea as a natural marine and to increase the tourism potential of the region.

SAMSUN WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT AND DEEP SEA OUTFALL PROJECT

Samsun East Advanced Biological Waste Water Treatment Plant will serve 93.1% of the service area of SASKI and will be the largest waste water treatment plant of the Black Sea Region. Waste water, collected from 4 main pumping stations, will be transferred to and treated at treatment plant.

“Activated sludge system with long aeration” is adopted as the treatment process. The waste water treatment plant to be operated fully automatic and outfall at deep sea. The capacity is 105,000 cum/day. Project, which is supported by international creditors, is realized on the basis of FIDIC Design-Build-Operate model.

To overcome the water lack experienced during the recent drought seasons in Ankara, with approx 5 million population, ASKI has decided to construct a new watertranmission ine from Kesikkopru Dam to Ankara in addition to current sources. Tranmission line consists of three parallel pipes each with a diameter of 1600 mm and with a length of 130 km (total 390 km). There are 10 depots and five pumping stations with a total capacity of 205.000 cum along the line.

Water from Gerede Stream is transmitted by gravity to camlıdere Dam Lake through a tunnel of 4.5 m diameter and 31,5 km length in order to obtain long term potable water needs of Ankara.

The project starts at the northeast border (Turkgozu/Posof) of Turkey and ends at the Greece border. Total length is 1850 km. Nominal capacity of the pipeline is 31 billion cubic meters per year with 96 Bar design pressure. Diameter of the pipeline are 56″ and 42″. Also totally 7 Compressor, 4 measuring, 11 pigging, 49 block valve and 2 take off stations will be constructed along the main TANAP pipeline route.

The project covers the detailed design of an area with 844 hectares (120.000 people) including 130 km road network, 67 km of rainwater drainage, 65 km waste water drainage and 73 km of potable water network.

In scope of the Libya Meselatah city infrastructure works, there are 57 km new urban road construction and improvement of 30 km existing roads 90 km potable water system network, 2 pumping stations, 3 water reservoirs, 70 km wastewater network and a wastewater treatment plant, rainwater drainage line with 57 km length, rainwater collection store reservoir, electrification, lighting and communication networks construction.

The project is part of the new sewage tunnel system developed for Mecca. The tunnel will be bored with TBM having 2.80 internal diameter and its approximate length is 4.7 km. The system length has been divided 2 lines as 3394 and 1323 m. (Line I and Line II). In scope of the project; there are 6 manholes and 3 TBM escape shafts be built on the tunnel system bored by TMB and structural preparation of structural design and design services for a starting shaft.

KUSADASI REGIONAL SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PROJECT

The first part of the project includes; construction of treatment plant, medical waste sterilization and standby composting plant in addition to the waste collection center used for recycling for beneficiary (Kus-Atak Municipalities Union), weighbridge, management and technical buildings, waste gas strengthening station, leachate treatment plant with 4.000 cum capacity (reverse osmosis leachate treatment plant with daily 60 cum capacity), related plants containing the leachate water balance tank and a new solid waste site (three waste disposal units with 1.560.000 cum waste volume for 20 years).

Second part of the project includes the rehabilitation of five old waste landfill areas in use within the borders of the beneficiary municipalities.

Treatment plant is planned to serve population of 1.600.000, and designed for flow of 200.000 cum/day capacity and for 1.000.000 equivalent population in the first phase. Based on the plant processes foreseen, the plant operates on the principle of preliminary treatment + advanced biological treatment + ultraviolet disinfection + anaerobic sludge digesting + common production plant and sludge dewatering.

In scope of the Libya Qarabuli city infrastructure works, there are 41,5 urban road and potable water system network, 54,5 sewage network, 3 wastewater umping station, rainwater drainage line with 12,6 km length, 2 rainwater store reservoir and electrification, lighting and communication networks construction.

IZMIR GRAND CHANNEL PROJECT

IZMIR GRAND CHANNEL PROJECT

Izmir Grand Channel Project targets the transfer of domestic and industrial wastewaters to Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) via main interception channel and four main pumping stations. It is an integral of projects including; rehabilitation of Melez, Manda, Bornova and Arap rivers that flow as open channels and transfer the sewage to the Bay, connection of those to the Main Interception Channel for transfer to WWTP, and disposal to Bay after being treated and purified.

In scope, construction of 2×2,200 mm diameters collector between Basmane-Hilal, Karsiyaka, Alaybey and Sogukkuyu collectors from 400 mm to 1,400 mm diameters, Bornova, Bayraklı and Ergene collectors from 400 mm to 1,600 mm and Gumruk Pump Station are consulted and supervised.

It is the domestic waste incineration plant project with 3.000 tons/day capacity that is planned to construction in Istanbul – Kemerburgaz.

In scope of the project; domestic waste receiving, waste storage, waste supply, waste incineration, recovering the energy generated from incineration and translating the energy into electrical energy, flue gas treatment, design of ash and slag collection and disposal, preparation of the designs with the appropriate selection and research, preparation of all tender documents such as EIA report and receiving approval of the ministry, required technical specification for the construction tender and contracts have been performed.

The project covers the engineering flood hydrology study belonging to all river main arm and tributary rivers in the basin and preparation of the detailed designs in accordance with the preliminary design and the client request in order to prevent a possible damage to the settlements and lands of the rivers and tributary rivers in Gemlik Bay Basin.

Alternative preliminary designs are prepared for the rivers by determining of existing situation with the flood hydrology report belonging to the 25 rivers in the project site (65 km in total). Detailed designs of the sections determined to the preliminary result in accordance with a selected alternative and investigation-approximate costs belonging to the projects are prepared.

Project, which is financed under Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) by the European Union, include improvement of current water network of Erzurum and construction of river rehabilitation, waste water collectors and waste water treatment plant with capacity of 62,500 cum/day.

Ankara Central Waste Water Treatment Plant is constructed to serve for an equivalent population of approximately 4 million with a capacity of 765.000 cum/ day in the 1st Phase.

“Classic activated sludge system with surface aeration” is adopted as the treatment process. Anaerobic sludge stabilization and mechanical sludge dewatering (decanter) are applied and an important saving is achieved in operation costs with power produced from biogas in anaerobic digesters.

Project is composed of 3 major parts;
Bursa East Waste Water Treatment Plant is designed in two phases to provide the domestic waste water treatment for approximately 1.550.000 equivalent population at the east basin of the city. Denitrification and dephosphorization are also realized at the plant where advanced biological treatment processes are applied. The capacity is 240,000 cum/day.

Bursa West Waste Water Treatment Plant is designed in two phases to provide the domestic waste water treatment for approximately 650.000 equivalent populations at the west basin of the city. Denitrification and dephosphorization are also realized at the plant where advanced biological treatment processes are applied. The capacity is 87,500 cum/day.

Hamitler Leachate Treatment Plant is built to prevent ground and surface water contamination leaking from the Solid Waste Landfill by purifying leachate having high pollution.

Selimpaşa Advanced Biological Waste Water Treatment Plant will serve in treatment of the waste water collected at all settlement areas at Selimpasa basin in İstanbul.

Plant with a capacity of daily 400.000 cum, will release the treated waste water to environment after being processed with advanced treatment methods like carbon, denitrification and dephosporization etc.
